Kitchen Inspiration
This week we are featuring some kitchen inspiration with our current top 10 favorite kitchens from some ridiculously talented designers that serve as huge inspirations for us here at the studio. Each space, unique with various design elements, will hopefully inspire you to get started on your own kitchen renovation. Don’t think these looks are unattainable! Be sure to check out the product links below each image in order to transform your space into your dream kitchen!
1. Teal Persuasion
This Manhattan apartment renovation certainly packs a punch! The tall glass cabinetry adds some height to the small space while simultaneously keeping an open and airy feel. The Benjamin Moore “Smokestack Gray” adds a sophisticated pop to CeCe’s preexisting ordinary cabinetry. This high-end laminate flooring completes the polished modern kitchen.
2. Rustic Tranquility
This mountain retreat was given a rustic makeover using global elements and neutral color scheme. Open shelving was installed to create openness and ultimately give attention to the beautiful focal point that is the hand painted Moroccan cement tile behind the stove. The wood and leather elements give it that rustic charm, while the polished concrete flooring gives it that clean and tranquil vibe!
3. Mixed Metals
This french country style kitchen brings a feminine flare featuring shiny Victorian faucets and delicate fish-scale pattern terra-cotta tile. What we love the most about this majestic ocean themed space is the mix of metals and finishes throughout, from the polished nickel faucets to the antique brass lighting to the black iron cabinetry hardware to the burnished zinc custom range hood!
4. Modern Minimalism
Sometimes the simplest of designs can be the most successful! The heavy element of the butcher-block island countertop pairs well with the airiness of the sheer bamboo shade and sleek white shaker cabinetry. A modern twist can be found in the vintage turkish runner and the bronze hardware.
5. Sultry Sophistication
Not exactly a kitchen, but an important necessity to any home: a wet bar! This luxurious space exudes sophisticated masculinity with the mix of black and navy tones. The glossy finish on the tile and the polished brass brackets with glass shelving certainly convey an upscale look that is cocktail party ready.
6. Farmhouse Industrial
My favorite element to Simo Design’s farmhouse kitchen is the herringbone pattern backsplash with black grout. The grout color adds a modern pop beneath all of the rustic features. The star of the show is the 3-pendant lighting fixture. I love that the unfinished light wood tones down the space and doesn’t compete with the black island countertop and industrial metal dining chairs.
7. Brass Beauty
Nothing says perfection like this brass and gray kitchen designed by Sharon Taftian. The clean lines from the French Gray cabinets and the brass piping on the open shelving add a harmonious feel to the space. The reclaimed wood flooring creates a rustic laid back and contrasts well with the brass elements.
8. Green Glam
It wouldn’t be a kitchen round up without a stellar design from Studio McGee. Their genius team went bold with rich cabinetry and vibrant modern cement tile floors. The mini sconces are the perfect touch to this glam kitchen. The mix of metals is definitely this year’s hottest trend and I am loving it!
9. Sleek Scandinavian
The textures in this kitchen are out of this world! The rough wood finish on the counter stools pair great with the smooth linen pendant lights. And to top it off (literally), Carrara white marble waterfall island countertop is what ties it all together for a sleek Scandinavian style.
10. Colorful Mid-Century Modern
I admire the risk Marie Flanigan took in mixing bright colors and various textures to create an eye catching eclectic kitchen. The complementary tones in the red oak wood counter stools and the blue green island cabinetry base are a flash of brilliance!
So, there you have it! We hope this kitchen round up has been helpful in introducing new styles and elements into your space and inspiring some major kitchen projects in your future!
