Rumson Dining Room Design Tour
Spring is here and we are ready to dish out a refreshing dining room design for the new season! This dining room is boasting with charming features! Come along with us on a tour of this incredible space that we hope our clients will create fond memories in for years to come.
Details are what makes a design special and this dining room is full of detail! The walls are covered with a navy-blue grasscloth wallpaper that balances so nicely with the white wall paneling and ceiling. Dark hardwood floors create a nice contrast, so the lighter elements appear brighter.
We opted for a sophisticated cove molding because the room will appear taller and wider, giving it a more elegant feel.
A buffet is an essential part to a dining room because it’s a great piece for storage and a place to serve food and drinks for family and friends.
The host chairs are definitely the statement pieces in our clients dining room. We went with a bold pattern on the back of the chairs so the front blends in seamlessly with the side chairs.
The delicate white drapes allow the room to be filled with warm, natural light. The drapery trim adds a dash of sophistication to the window treatments, while complimenting the room’s overall color scheme.
The artwork by Benson Cobb adds a modern touch and throws in another shade of blue like the blue design on the host chairs. The light fixture exhibits an angelic feel, slightly hovering over the table with a wide shade. We added a floral centerpiece to top off the space with a pop of color.
The white and blue elements, the flooring, and dining table coincide perfectly, creating a beautiful, but even space of light and dark with the subtle design on the drapes to add character and pull this room together.
That’s all for our Rumson Dining Room Design Tour, we hope to spark design ideas in everyone so they can enjoy a beautiful space like this.
